Mount Terminio



Terminio Mount (1783 m) is a mountain of Picentini mountains, in ' Campanian Apennines, in the municipalities of Volturara Irpina and Montella, in the province of Avellino .
The summit reaches an altitude of 1,783 m above sea level and there are plains of "Campolaspietro", "Water Birds," "Black Water", "Verteglia. The so-called "Dragon's Mouth", an example of a phenomenon Karst to 670 m above sea level, is one of the sinkholes that convey, through subsoil layers, the rain water to the springs of Serino.
The panorama from the summit, to the shores of Salerno and Vesuvius and the rich vegetation on the plains make it a tourist destination .
